How do I transfer domains between 2 GoDaddy accounts?
If you are transferring domain from one GoDaddy account to another, the account currently holding the domain will do an account change.
Please find this information for the GoDaddy account you are transferring to:
– Customer ID
– Email associated with account.
1. Log in to GoDaddy
2. Click on top right corner icon > My Products
3. Click on blue button Domain Manager
4. Search for your domain & click on the domain name.
5. You’re now on Domain Settings page. Scroll to bottom of page, click on Transfer domain to another GoDaddy account.
6. Begin Account Change window will pop up.
7. Enter info where you will be moving the domain:
– Email address
– Select checkbox : I have the recipient’s customer account or username. Enter in Customer ID.
8. Domain’s contact information = Do not change
9. Nameserver settings = select checkbox Keep current nameservers for this domain/
10. Next
To check status of domains, go to Domains in top left corner of GoDaddy screen > Pending Account Changes
You can view Outgoing or Incoming Account Changes.
